It gives you another safe place to keep money you want to put away to spend on things further in the future. You can start building your down payment or set aside funds for your long-term savings goals with this Account.
There is no additional fee for adding this account.
With the Goals Account you can set aside money for future financial goals or for a rainy day. Plan for future expenses, like buying a car or taking a vacation
Percapita's Needs Account is an optional savings account that can be added if you have a Cash Account. It gives you another safe place to keep money you want to put away to spend on short-term things. You can set aside money that you need for things like rent, utilities, etc.
There is no additional fee for adding this account.
If you have a Percapita Cash Account, you can open a Needs Account.
Enroll in our Penny Jar feature and we will round up each purchase made on your Percapita Visa Debit Card to the nearest dollar so you can start saving money automatically with every swipe!
You need a Percapita Cash Account in order to activate Penny Jar.
For example, if you buy a cup of coffee for $4.25 with your Percapita Visa Debit Card, we will round up $0.75 into the destination account of your choice.
Nothing feels worse than an overdraft fee. With the Percapita Cash Account you could qualify for Cash Cushion and be protected from overdrafts and hefty overdraft fees. Turning on the Cash Cushion will allow you to go negative up to $25if you don't have enough money in your account to cover a purchase.
If your Cash Account is down to $13 and you try to buy $20 worth of groceries, without the Cash Cushion, your transaction will be declined. But if you were enrolled your purchase would be approved at checkout.
Your Cash Account balance will remain negative until you make a deposit or transfer to bring it to a $0 or positive balance.
*Cash Cushion will only work with debit card purchases.
